School’s out for summer!
Cue the tunes — “School’s out for summer!” It’s time to put away those school books (for now) in favor of lazy summer days, sleeping in, staying up late, and getting together with friends. This season, Apex Leadership Co. is encouraging kids (and their parents!) to take a more “old school” approach to summer activities… with some good old-fashioned outdoor fun.
It’s time to get out and have some fun!
After seemingly endless months spent inside, socially distanced, and with too much screen time to count, it’s time to get out and have some fun outdoors! That’s right — put those electronics on their chargers, turn off the TV and laptops, and get out and about this summer! Spending a little time outdoors can do wonders for the mind, body, and soul… And there are countless ways to spend time outdoors so the “I’m bored” can say “buh-bye!”
Join the Summer “Get Out” Weekly Challenge
Apex Leadership Co. invites students (with parents’ permission) to tag along this summer on the Apex Leadership Co. Summer “Get Out” Weekly Challenge. This interactive social media challenge encourages kids to post a picture of each week’s “get out” challenge for a chance to win some pretty
cool prizes (and create some wonderful memories along the way). The themes are as follows, and the challenge begins as soon as you’re out of school for the summer!

To further encourage families to “get out” this summer, Apex Leadership Co. has created the Feed Your Soul, Fill Your Bucket Check List — an awesome list of more than 100 outdoor activities that are super fun for the whole family; and, oftentimes, free of charge! Why not vow to make the most of summer as a family and to spend it outdoors as much as possible?
Regardless of how families spend their summer, Apex Leadership Co. encourages parents and students alike to “unplug” a little bit from the daily distractions (and pressures!) of today’s technology. Getting out in nature or simply in one’s own backyard really can be good for the soul! And regardless of age, everyone can use some uplifting activities that feed the soul. So get out there and have fun!
