The Apex Leadership Company is pleased to announce further growth with a new franchise in New Jersey and would like to officially welcome Anna Marie Fisher, franchisee and area director for the new branch!
Formerly in the medical industry for more than 30 years and covering hospitals throughout New Jersey, Fisher is a self-admitted “people pleaser” who was seeking a way to feel more fulfilled and valued in her career. She says, “I have been looking for a way to make more of a positive impact in my community and help make the world just a little bit brighter while still having fun. When I visited Apex in Arizona and experienced Discovery Day, it was an epiphany!”
With the thought of visiting schools every day and introducing the best leadership and character program that will have tremendous positive effects on children and raise more funds for schools than traditional avenues versus going to a hospital every day, Fisher decided this was the answer she’d been seeking. She adds, “What a way to make a positive impact on my community and society — and the lives of those beautiful children!”
Fisher purchased her local franchise the day after Thanksgiving 2019; her territory will serve the Flemington and New Brunswick communities of New Jersey. Fisher grew up in East Orange and has lived in Flemington for 26 years so she says, “This is my backyard in terms of how I used to cover the state. My daily commute is so much easier these days. And it’s exciting to be able to be so local.”
A single mom of a 14-year-old son, Fisher says she was touched when she personally witnessed and heard multiple stories of how the Apex Leadership/Character component of the program has made such positive impacts on the lives of “these beautiful souls.” She says, “In this day and age of technology, it is so important to provide positive role models for children. We all need more human contact. ‘With people in mind’ was my former slogan in the medical industry and it was my sign that Apex was truly ‘with people in mind!’”
Apex is thrilled to be expand into this new territory. With a positive spirit such as Fisher, the company is confident that the New Jersey youth are in good hands. Welcome, Anna Marie!
