2026–2027 Super Heroes

"Super Heroes" is about the everyday choices that make someone heroic. It teaches students that being a hero isn't about having superpowers. It's about showing up steady, lifting others up, and going the extra mile.

What School Leaders Are Saying

"The students are so engaged throughout the lessons and motivated to help their school. "

During their lessons, they use high engagement practices like call and response and total physical response so the kids easily understand and comprehend what they're learning. I appreciate how the Apex members are respectful about entering the classroom, checking with the teacher that it's a good time to come in. When it's time for them to leave, they do a great job of calming the students back down and getting them ready to go back to learning.

"Apex is an outstanding fundraising company that clearly values student character and engagement."

The amount of enthusiasm, energy, and effort put forth by the leaders was impressive and made a long-lasting impression on each and every child. Whether the lesson was about selflessness or refueling, the kids could name a time they showed that characteristic in the daily challenges.

"Even our toughest teachers spoke highly about how Apex was enhancing the kids' behavior."

The Apex Program was such a powerful and inspiring journey for our students and staff. Everyone absolutely loved the focus on leadership, teamwork, and character building. It went far beyond just fundraising. I was especially proud to see how much my daughter grew through this program. She worked so hard, showed real effort, and made positive changes in her behavior. Thank you for reminding them that being a leader starts from within.

"The message that every child has the choice to lead, no matter who they are, was incredibly powerful."

Beyond the fun, students were learning meaningful lessons about leadership. They discovered that leadership can look different for everyone and that each of them has the ability to be a leader every day. At our Glow Party celebration, two students came up to me and said "This is the best day ever" and "I love school now, I wish they didn't have to leave." Hearing that from our students said everything about the impact the Apex team had on them.

Frequently Asked Questions

We know planning a fundraiser comes with questions — here are clear, simple answers to help you feel confident.

What is the 2026-2027 Apex theme?

It's called Super Heroes, and it's built around six character habits: Steady, Uplifter, Purpose, Extra Mile, and Reliable. Put together, they add up to Hero. Each habit gets its own day of lessons during the two-week program.

Is the Apex curriculum PBIS aligned?

Yes, the daily habits are built to reinforce PBIS expectations and support SEL goals your school is likely already working toward. Rather than adding a separate initiative, the lessons give your existing framework two weeks of concentrated reinforcement.

How does the theme change each year?

We develop a new theme annually with input from educators, so returning students get fresh material instead of a repeat. The event format can stay the same while the leadership content is new, which is part of why schools run Apex year after year.

Are lessons available for multilingual families and classrooms?

Yes. Our lesson videos are available in Spanish and our informational materials come in multiple languages, so families who don't speak English at home can follow what their student is learning and take part.
