During their lessons, they use high engagement practices like call and response and total physical response so the kids easily understand and comprehend what they're learning. I appreciate how the Apex members are respectful about entering the classroom, checking with the teacher that it's a good time to come in. When it's time for them to leave, they do a great job of calming the students back down and getting them ready to go back to learning.

The amount of enthusiasm, energy, and effort put forth by the leaders was impressive and made a long-lasting impression on each and every child. Whether the lesson was about selflessness or refueling, the kids could name a time they showed that characteristic in the daily challenges.

The Apex Program was such a powerful and inspiring journey for our students and staff. Everyone absolutely loved the focus on leadership, teamwork, and character building. It went far beyond just fundraising. I was especially proud to see how much my daughter grew through this program. She worked so hard, showed real effort, and made positive changes in her behavior. Thank you for reminding them that being a leader starts from within.

Beyond the fun, students were learning meaningful lessons about leadership. They discovered that leadership can look different for everyone and that each of them has the ability to be a leader every day. At our Glow Party celebration, two students came up to me and said "This is the best day ever" and "I love school now, I wish they didn't have to leave." Hearing that from our students said everything about the impact the Apex team had on them.

I teach a 4/5 combo and was worried at first about the level of engagement my too-cool fifth graders would show to all the chants and motions and videos. But they loved it. It was like having celebrities on campus every day. We raised more than our goal, and it was nice to see that our volunteer parents who help with our PTA didn't have to run themselves ragged trying to drum up support like usual. Apex did all the heavy lifting for us.
