As the New Year unfolds, Apex Leadership Co. is enthusiastic, and optimistic, about a great year to come — for the company, its partner schools, and for expansion into new areas where the Apex format can benefit even more youth. To that end, Apex Leadership Co. is excited to welcome its newest branch serving the South Louisiana communities. This new branch is under the helm of Jason Lee, who was born and raised in the area and is dedicated to bringing new and better opportunities for the communities’ schools and youth.
Jason learned about the Apex Leadership Co. opportunity through a franchise broker, and he says, “The mission and vision of the company caught my attention right away. I was intrigued and wanted to learn more.” After spending the next four months learning the program inside and out, Jason had an opportunity to spend some time with Apex co-founder Jeremy Barnhart. Together they visited a local school where Lee got to see an Apex program in action and speak to teachers and the principal firsthand about how the programs have made a true difference in the lives of their students and positively impacted their school’s culture. After that experience, Lee says he felt a true calling to join the Apex family and to bring the company’s programs to his home state of Louisiana.
Of the Apex difference, Jason says, “This program partners with schools to support all children in their personal journey to discover their own talents and leadership capabilities while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Apex fundraising helps to support schools financially, but the program is so much more than simple fundraising. ”
As a father of three very active children (ages eight, six, and three), and husband to Lauryn, a first-grade teacher, Lee enjoys volunteering his time to coach his children’s soccer, baseball, and softball teams. He is excited to continue on his path of giving back to his community and making a difference in the lives of the youth in his area. He adds, “As a new branch owner, I’m looking forward to all the wonderful adventures that await me in this new journey — and to meeting with many schools in the coming weeks.”
